I feel like I'm not mistaken in thinking most apps alert snapchat that a recording is taking place, even if you start before entering snap. I'm not as familiar with Xrecorder though.

Also yes, these were the two Patreon photos I was going to post alongside any video content I got today through snap.

I wouldn't risk getting caught screen recording until you get a solid solution. Shes golden.

I've tested out a method that works 100% with the best results possible, for both video and photos. So again, whenever she gets up and starts offering content, we'll see how it goes. I've canceled my Patreon subscription so I won't get charged tomorrow for another month, so we'll see how regularly she updates her snap member's verified status. I'm looking to see how much content I can get offered for cheap and see if a $100 a month subscription is even possibly worth it. Based on the frequency of her photo schedule (currently once a week, if that), my guess is that it won't be.

But hey, she says the more support she's getting, the more she can focus on this stuff.

I'm on Android and I've used a program called EZ ScreenCorder. It can make screen record videos of any length and does not send a screenshot notification. Snapchat also recently came out with a web app, so if you have any experience ripping cam streams you could likely do the same thing through your browser.

That's the method I'm using right now, the desktop app. Fairly simple to combat notifications. Doesn't even let the person know you TRIED to screenshot, just prevents text from being shown... doesn't seem to work quite as well when it comes to simply switching tabs, Command+5-ing, hitting record, and then going back into the desktop app. :)

Although, we're certain Snapchat doesn't send Secret alerts, right? Like a "Bob took a screenshot" but a notification only they can see and get sent?
