It was more than one moderator, actually.
Generally users are allowed a short window after creating a post to do their own edits or delete. After that moderators need to modify posts. This prevents some instances of abuse that we've dealt with in the past where users were editing their posts to sneak in illegal or malicious content after a post has received enough reaction to be trusted by the average user. It also prevents people from hurting the community be deleting popular posts or threads in a "I'm taking my ball and going home" kind of situation.
You were posting content in a help thread and then asking mods to dirty delete content if you didn't get a Medal reaction. This is a community and we're here to help each other and getting upset that less active users aren't giving you the maximum thanks is petty behavior.
We're happy to edit or delete posts that have bad/outdated information or broken links or delete the occasional post just because. When it becomes several requests a day to delete what appears to be useful text posts it feels more like abusive behavior and bad faith posting.

I was certain that eltaco would reply my comment because he knows he have a role in this stoty. But, i guess all the other moderators didn’t care or don’t want to answer the two questions directed to them and for that, thanks eltaco for taking your time for making a comment.
I also was expecting that you would avoid to answer the direct questions and double down with half truths but, like the old saying says “telling half truths doesn’t make you a half honest person”. I will explain it in seperate comment.
What valid info can i take from your comment. Now i know it wasn’t only one moderator that actively refused my direct request to remove a couple of comments of mine that have zero reactions with no interactions. Only this forum that this sort of thing happens and even remove them can be considered as “dirty deleting” (???) and could “hurt the community”. Just let point it out again, asking to remove your own comments with zero likes can “hurt the community”. Of course i don’t want this lovely community being hurt so, in my good faith i will rely on you to never, ever remove those four comments as a noble gesture from my side, end of story.

This comment it’s to clarify the incorrect things that Eltaco said and the part he “forgot” to say and show of what can be consider “petty and bad faith bahavior”.
So, the origin of all of this is in the “Name that girl” tread, were i was a very active user and stopped at page 22. Besides the usefull replies, i gave positive reactions to some users that also gave the correct answer (included to your own replies, something you never did until very recently, nothing wrong about that btw but, for someone that talks about helping the community… just saying) and also give positive reactions to some users that interact with my replies and also gave positive reactions to all of those that gave me a medal or a hero reactions. But, some users forget that being part of a community you have to give and take so, i would write in my replies “Don't forget to leave a positive reaction if you found this info helpful.” and recently changed the line basically replacing the “positive reaction” part to a medal emoji. So, saying i demand a medal from anyome it’s wrong, period. Now the part you forgot to say. A user made a post asking the name of the girl and i quickly gave the name of the model with the direct link to all of her social medias. He gave me a like and i reply to him with this comment “I guess it didn't deserved a medal, thanks for the like eitherway...” and you, Eltaco, had the non smart idea to dislike that comment. You could had DM me first btw, the comment is not rude in anyway. So, i asked to remove both of my comments in that post and the moderator did what he’s supposed to do and remove them. I posted the same comment in a previous post, just to see your reaction and you did the same thing. The comment it’s still there and i never asked to be removed. So, you are actively “hurting” my score. So i requested to remove my posts with no reactions, in that tread.
I have to point it out, that after all of this situation happened, someone posted asking for the name of the girl and you gave a very well donne reply and all you got was a “Thanks” from him and maybe because of that you did to me, you couldn’t say anything so, you gave him a like. Reinforcing the idea that people should not react positively to the replies for their own posts. Also some user answered a post and you gave him a like. I guess you changed a started to support this part of “community” in a more positive way. Good for you.

Dude, I'm not sure where you think I'm trying to be sneaky or whatever. I promise you it's not that deep. I'm not on here to police people's reactions and unless somebody is abusing the system by downvoting an entire thread or an entire user's history it's really not a big deal. I definitely didn't think your comment that was downvoted was rude enough to warrant an entire conversation, but I guess we're here now anyway.

As far as my own reactions go - again, it's not that deep. If I liked someone else's post it's because there was something I liked about. Maybe I was also curious about the answer, or maybe I tried to find it myself and someone else beat me to it, or maybe I just liked it. I dunno. I follow like 350 threads on here on top of looking at reports and approvals and everything else. I'm not spending a lot of time weighing which posts deserve likes and which don't.

But yeah, I stand by my earlier statements about not deleting harmless posts just because. It doesn't matter if it doesn't have any reactions. It could still be useful to another person, or save another person effort if they decide to answer a question that was already answered once. It's entirely possible the original asker hadn't seen the answer yet. Most people aren't on here every day and a lot of people have notifications disabled.
