I have a browser extension called Popup Blocker (strict) that prohibits all popups and works pretty well.
Alternately I sometimes use a program called Bulk Gallery Downloader for Cyberdrop (and other sites). You just paste a list of links into a text file and hit a button and it downloads all the contents.
