Anyone know why she decided to become an online whore? I know she left RT for whatever reason but she had a respectable fan base from that. Did she try to do more news/gaming stuff and failed. Or was it simply for money. Thought? Just curious.

This is it right here. She wants to do it. It's not about the money or anything else as much as it is that she likes the praise and attention.
The money does help though. I'm sure she made way more money doing this than she ever would have staying at RT. And she probably saw the writing on the wall, how it wouldn't last much. That and I guess it's not exactly easy to look at people in the eye knowing they totally have access to seeing your bare tits, ass and cooch out there and that at that time most the office was just men who totally would have had the thought to take a peek. And perhaps to also save Gavin some grief with the knowledge that people in the office look at Meg and can only picture her nudes all day while she's around. Maybe would save him embarassment if she was just out of the office. could be many things. But the main one is yea she just likes it at the end of the day

If I vaguely remember her YT video correctly saying why she left RT, she said her cosplay content/convention appearances to support it was interfering with her RT job (whatever that was since I think they had cancelled her show before she left). So they gave her the option of one or the other. She chose cosplay.
While Meg was still at RT, at most she had done some bikini or lingerie content. Nudity came a long while after. Even if she thinks/suspects all of her friends have seen her nude, she still hangs out with them. So it must not bother her or Gavin for that matter.

She had stated that she would have gone nude if the right opportunity presented itself (ie Playboy). In the absence of such an offer, she took it upon herself to create her own coffee table book of nudes.
