For the most part, users of sites like this HIGHLY prefer that unless you are posting new content, that you just comment on a post (like you did just today) rather than replying to the thread (like you did in the initial request for a mega link). When you reply to the thread, it pings people that follow the thread, giving the impression that someone posted new actual content. So seeing the notification only to see someone asking for more content tends to grind some gears. Hope this helps!
